About Grants

Giving Focus

Emphasis will be given to housing and homeless initiatives primarily in the Houston and Harris County area. Consideration will be given to international aid and emergency relief.

Geographic Preference

Metropolitan area of Houston, Texas and the State of Texas. Please note that international projects are only supported in collaboration with United States based non-profit organizations having appropriate international credentials and local oversight of distant community missions.

About Grants

The Frees Foundation is a private foundation and accepts grant requests only by invitation.

Because we seek to serve as a catalyst for social change and to work at a systems level, our grants are designed to achieve meaningful and impactful results as measured by outcomes.
